Web Usage Analysis
The usage and the utility of web is
still in its nascent stages. Seeking, providing or dealing
in information is still what constitutes most of the Internet.
The universal adaptation of Internet as a medium, and the
depth of its reach is still in its infancy. Numerous issues
like, Internet architectures and platforms, Interoperability
and Integration issues in e-business, etc., affects this phenomenon.
But inspite of these hurdles, the diffusion of the usage of
Internet is proliferating although at a slow pace. More and more
business models for Internet are being designed, providing a
continuity to the real world scenarios, for solving problems,
providing information, and many other related possibilities..
In this paper we have simulated few real life scenarios where
Internet can play a major part as a medium, and have tried to
establish, corresponding web usage models for these different
scenarios.
Each scenario is followed by a Key requirement related to that
scenario. And finally we have established the corresponding
Web Usage Model as a possibility for each of the scenarios mentioned
here.
